Drink beer. Get stamped. Win prizes. Explore the breweries of Vancouver, WA.
Brewcouver was launched as a collective project by Vancouver’s brewers and community partners to pay homage to our brewing past and create awareness for the booming beer scene that has overtaken the city today.
Vancouver has a deep brewing history dating back to the late 1800’s when John Muench founded Vancouver Brewery. It became Star Brewery in 1890, then Interstate Brewery and finally Lucky Lager Brewing Co. in 1950. When Lucky Lager closed in 1985, it was followed shortly by Hazel Dell Brewing and Salmon Creek Brewing in the 90’s.
Today, Vancouver is home to many breweries with taprooms and locations open for business with many more additional start-up brewers planning to roll their doors open in the next couple years.
Brewcouver is a FREE passport that allows you to explore all of our breweries from historic Downtown Vancouver to the neighborhood brewers serving beer lovers far and wide. Visit them. Sit a spell. Enjoy a beer brewed right here from ingredients sourced here by people who live here.
Once you’ve visited them all, collect your FREE Brewcouver prize at Bens Bottle Shop or The Thirsty Sasquatch - iconic Vancouver taprooms conveniently located on either side of Vancouver. After that, refer to your passport for other prizes and rewards available from our community partners who support local beer and are helping make this passport possible!
Whether you’re visiting from across the bridge or across the world, CHEERS!
Brewcouver is made possible by the generosity of Great Western Malting Company. Our heartfelt thanks to them for supporting our local craft beer community.
